Baron von Richthofen sits at his table on occasion after occasion, documenting his various kills through number 80, until that fateful day when he was in an aerial fight and his plane glided down toward the ground ever so slowly and landed. Allied troops approached and found the baron dead behind his stick.; A new recruit to a mortar crew during the Korean War was complaining about all of the rifle fire around their position, but he soon learns a real lesson in warfare.; General Washington and his forces are on Manhattan Island on September 15, 1776, on the receiving end of British bombardment from the sea. Severely outnumbered, many of the men wish to run, but Washington pleads with them to stay, in vain. As his army deserts him, the general and his horse are led off the field of battle, but the war has just begun!
